Being in the wellness industry I was well aware of the need to drink lots of water everyday. Living in Auckland, the water always tastes of chlorine and that put us off drinking as much water as we should. So I knew I needed to install a filter.

We contacted Steve for advice. He took the time to go through the options available. As we have a young family and want them to drink water (and not coke or fruit juices), on his recommendation we installed a whole house system. We now have chlorine free water not only for drinking but also for the bath and shower.

We probably knew we wanted a whole house water filter before Steve came to see us but we couldn't see where we were going to put it as there was not enough space to install the system in the house. Steve suggested that we put it in a weather tight box on the house wall - then he arranged for the box to be built, installed the box and the filters.

What first impressed us with Greg and Steve was their wide knowledge of the water purification industry.

The fact that we extract water from a river running through the station was not a problem for them. They took test samples, did some analysis and then came back with a comprehensive quote and plan.

When they came to install the system, it was all plain sailing from our point of view. They arrived when they said they would, installed the system and departed. And it is all working well to this day.

Lochinver Station

Note from Pure Water Services: This installation comprised a large multimedia sand filter to extract grit and dirt from the river water into a holding tank. From here the water was piped across the station through existing (old) pipe work to the 20 stock troughs and 2 homes each of which had its own UV water purification system at the point of use of the water.

I just though I drop you a line about how pleased we are with the new UV water filter you installed. It is so nice not to have to worry about the water my children are drinking. We are all drinking more water now.

Note from Pure Water Services: This family home is on the outskirts of Warkworth and used rain water collected from the roof. The system includes a couple of jumbo filters to remove particles such as pollen and leaves and the UV light kills other water borne pathogens.
