The Sterilight S12Q-PA provides point-of-entry disinfection with a flow rate of
57.0 lpm at a 30 mJ/cm2 dose 42.0 lpm if a dose of 40 mJ/cm2 is required.) This
modular system, incorporating our new SilverT controller, is ideal for whole
home treatment of an entire home or cottage. Placed prior to the water heater,
all the water in the home, including the hot water will receive disinfected
water. The SilverT controller provides constant output current and a universal
power input (240V./50-60Hz.), as well as visually displaying remaining lamp
life and total days of operation. All this is packaged in a new water-tight
case and come fully CSA and CE compliant. SterilumeT-EX coated low pressure
germicidal UV lamps are used to provide an economical way of treating water
requiring a 99.99% reduction in bacteria and viruses.
The S12Q-PA is manufactured with a polished, 304 stainless steel, pressure
rated tube and comes with unique combination ports with a 1" MNPT thread on the
outside and a ¾ " FNPT thread on the inside. Quality is evident throughout the
Silver platform ranging from quartz sleeves with fire-polished ends to seamless
connections. Lamp change is easily accomplished without interrupting the water
flow and the ove rmoulded connector can be removed without any additional
tools. A drain port is included on the S12Q-PA to easily drain the reactor if
required.
The S12Q-PA ultraviolet sterilizers are specifically designed for both
residential and commercial/industrial applications requiring 99.9% (Log 3)
reduction of bacteria and viruses. Log 3 reduction in Giardia and
Cryptosporidium is also achievable by slowing the water flow down and therefore
increasing the irradiation dose.
