How do you know when the filter replacement is due?
All our clients are entered on our data base. This lets us know when your filter is due for a replacement and your system due for a precision tune up.
We have invested heavily in a new state of the art purpose built data base so we know we have everyone scheduled for maintenance at the right time. Having a purpose built system means we can accurately keep your records and have them specific to you. This means we know exactly where you’re located and what systems you have onsite so when we turn up we have the right equipment & products on board.
Some of our clients have multiple systems and its useful that we have the full history of your system every time we arrive at your place to perform a precision tune up.
What filters do you service?
We service all brands, regardless of who installed them or what make and model. We carry a huge range on our service trucks so you can guarantee we have the right filter for the job. There are some unusual filters out there from companies that no longer exist. This is very common, we can retro fit the latest designed filters into your existing system.
What is the service interval of filters?
All filters need replacing every 12-24 months depending on what type they are and what your water source is. The main reason for changing your filter regularly is for hygienic purposes. All filters end up collecting bacteria, even the ones that say they don’t! Water filters are designed to catch sediment and cysts such as Giardia etc. These are trapped in the filter, hence regular replacement is necessary.
Other reason for filter changes are the media is exhausted or the filters block. Main water line breaks or pollen in water tanks can often cause the filter to be over loaded with debris, and it better they catch it than you drink it! If your filter is blocking regularly then you possibly have a system that was not matched to your conditions.
Please ring 0800 787 392 to discus getting the right solution for you. We regularly have people tell us their water tastes fine! Don’t change the filter! When we eventually do change the filter they are often horrified at the levels of bacteria and sediment trapped in the filter, sometimes you can even scrape it off!
